"Loom" is part one of a two part series on futuristic ships. The backing is a gorgeous blue-gray writing desk from the late 1800s. Other materials include farmhouse floorboards, wood from a pump organ and a cottage shelf.
The rustic, century old wood challenges our views of the future. Will our new technology be made of shiny and sleek alien metal or scraps scavenged from abandoned towns? Probably some new, super compact material made from melted down shopping bags and diapers.
This wall hanging comes ready to hang and is finished with a durable, low sheen, water based polyurethane.
