Oh, the last glacial period, aka "ice age", was circa 110,000 - 11,700 years ago. In the past 135 years, the glaciers have become particularly drippy and melty. My favourite news stories are of longstanding mysteries solved, like for this Swiss family who wondered for 75 years what happened to their parents, until a glacier retreated and revealed the Dumoulins' frozen remains and DNA.
Anyhow, this piece reminds me of a melting glacier and that there are always silver linings. And the number "135" is stamped right into the wood.
